Congratulations to Jaclyn
Akers our February Performer of the
month.
Great Job!
Congratulations to our Allegro Precision Dance
Company and the Hip Hop Troupe for their excellent dancing at the past few
competitions!
We have had numerous high scores and platinum awards,
not to mention scholarships!!
So far we have competed at Star power, JUMP, Rainbow
Connection & West Coast Dance Explosion competition.
We still have a few more competitions left before competition
season is over. Good Luck at the last few competitions!
We are very proud of their accomplishments but even
prouder of their hard work and dedication.
Parents -
We know how important it is to be able to communicate with your child’s
teacher.
Each teacher
has a five minute break in-between their classes and sometimes needs to move to
another studio room or use the restroom.
If you have a question that might require more than a few minutes
please:
·
Feel free to
e-mail the studio and we will get the question to the teacher
·
See if the
receptionist can help you answer the question.
The lost and found is
located in the student lounge on the bottom shelf of the library.
Please continue to check
often for your items because they will be donated to the Goodwill each month.
We have had many instances
with students being picked up ½ hour to an hour late at times. We understand there are many circumstances
and reasons, but sometimes it is just forgetfulness or perpetual lateness. In the future we are discussing a fee
(similar to what daycares charge) when a parent is late. Please take note that this may be happening
in the near future and to please pick your child up on time. Our staff members work very hard for the
students and when it comes time to go home, they want to go home to their
families. Not to mention that many of
them are also very busy with other jobs and are also furthering their
education. Thank you for
understanding.

choose.” ~Melissa Hayden

souvenir!
Other camps include:
Fosse, Tumbling, Dance Team workshop and even movie nights!

They have started to
arrive and will continue to until picture day.
Please hang them up at home and do not let your dancer(s) play with them
before the show. Let us know right away
if there is a size problem. Many
costumes will need minor alterations such as straps, or cutting the length of
pants, etc… If you need the name of a
seamstress please see Rosemary in the office.
‘Partial order and Put
together on your own’ costumes- in some
instances it was cheaper to order part of the costume and get the other half on
your own or made. This is specified in
the Costume Book in the lobby.
Made by a Seamstress
– Any costumes needing a seamstress
will need payment in the next few months and you will be given the information
by the end of this month at the latest.
If you have any questions about your
costumes, please do not hesitate to ask the instructor before or after class,
or you can e-mail Allegro with questions at allegroacademy@earthlink.net

BIOGRAPHY:
Eduardo Aguirre & Heather Gervais have over 20 years of dance experience and two
years working together as dance partners.
Eduardo has been dancing since
the age of six in
world over and becoming a salsa maestro. Heather
was introduced to salsa dancing while on a study abroad program in
in 2001, and feels that falling in love with the dance
and the culture has been the most life-changing experience of her life.
In 2007 the couple won the
Portland Salsa Competition and qualified to compete in the World Salsa
Championship, the third qualification for Eduardo and the first for Heather.
The two love inspiring others through instruction and performance to discover
for themselves the joy that they have found in salsa.
They teach in the Greater Seattle area and perform and compete in numerous
local and national events.
Some are available for purchase in the lobby now or
you can special order one to be here in time for the show.
