Alex Little

Alex Little, a native of Seattle, Washington, is now based in Los Angeles, where she is teaching at Edge Performing Arts Center in addition to the Young Americans College of Performing Arts.

Alex performed and taught on three international tours with the Young Americans; two of which she directed. She has worked with renowned artists
like Mandy Moore, Terry Beeman, Doug Caldwell, Mark Meismer, Adam Parson,
Rhonda Miller, Jessica Hendricks, Nicole Harlan and Cody Green; as well as multi-
Emmy award winning director/composer Mark Watters, Drama Desk & Emmy Award Winner Michael Curry & Design, figure skaters Amber Corwin & Matt Evers, and more.

Alex was the subject of a feature article published in August 2005’s Dance Spirit
Magazine “Alexandra the Great”. She has been hired as the choreographer on projects that have ranged from the Tarbell Reality Awards Industrials to Knotts Berry Farm ice shows to the Christmas tree lighting spectacular Santa Monica Shines, and the GiGi Girls burlesque show on the Las Vegas strip.

In 2008 Cornish College of the Arts commissioned Alex to set an extended version of her repertoire piece “Close But No Cigar” on their students, a three-month process that began her ventures into the college scene.

For several years she has been a part of the Master faculty of the International dance festival Dance Excellence! the Boulder Jazz Dance Workshop, and she is on the web faculty at Danceplug.com where her class choreography can be downloaded!

Alex just launched The FEEDBACK Experience, monthly master classes in LA to 100% live music and various art forms invited to partake in the 2-hour “art inspiring art” project.

For a decade, Alex has traveled this continent and abroad as a master class instructor, choreographer and mentor for private engagements.

In addition, she continues to perform on stages worldwide, and she is going on her
seventh year with Interweave Dance Theater Company. Just last year Alex was a guest dancer & aerialist with Revelations Co, and in the fall of 2010 she joined Terry Beeman’s Mental Head Circus, a prestigious aerial contemporary & burlesque dance company.

Look for her on the upcoming disco episode of Wipeout, ABC Television.
