Allegro Performing Arts Academy

Allison Rupert has a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance alongside a minor in education from the University of Washington . She is currently in graduate school at UW for her Masters in Teaching with an emphasis in elementary education. Currently Allison teaches 2nd grade in Bellevue School District and has recently received her dance endorsement in Washington State . Allison recently wrote the Bellevue ’s School Districts dance curriculum for the fine arts programs in all middle schools and high schools.

Allison began dancing at age 3 and started her training in all styles of dance with Allegro at age 9. While with Allegro Precision Dance Company Allison received many awards from a variety of competitions around the Pacific Northwest . Allison has trained at several places around the area, as well as the Edge in L.A. She has performed in Seattle 's En L'aire show, V.H. Production Showcase as a singer/pianist. In 2006 Allison danced with Westlake Performing Group under the direction of Kirsten Cooper. At Westlake she has performed in En’Lair performances, Westlake Unplugged and Sign of Times shows. Allison got the chance to perform in different venues in Europe while with Westlake Performing Group during the summer of 2006. Allison has performed in several dance concerts at the University of Washington and has choreographed for local studios as well as University of Washington showcases. Allison is excited to be part of the Allegro team once again!
