Gina Starbuck, a native of Fresno, California, is one of the hottest performers on the scene.
She recently finished a long run with the LA company of the broadway hit Wicked, as the Witch’s Mother.
She has received endless amounts of awards and recognition for her work as a dancer/choreographer, as well as being a respected and accomplished singer and actress. At the age of 17, Gina traveled and performed with the contemporary dance company MKF Altered Modalities, winners of the 2000 Jazz World Congress. At 18, she was assistant Choreographer for the Miss California Pageant. She attended college at Chapman University, where she was awarded Freshman of the Year in Dance, and was selected to perform at the Kennedy Center. Since Gina arrived in Los Angeles, she has worked with artist such as Prince, Lindsay Lohan, Gavin Degraw, Gene Simmons, Josh Kelly, and many more. Her skills as a teacher and choreographer have taken her around the world, and her work has won awards at numerous competitions and conventions, including NYCDA and CO Dance. She is on faculty at many prestigious studios and dance conventions including The Edge Performing Arts Center, Millennium Dance Complex, Debbie Reynolds Studios, Celebrity Dance and Muse Dance Co.
Kim is an Atlanta native where she trained and graduated from the Northside HS of Performing Arts. She moved to L.A. when she was 18 and worked extensively in television, film, commercials and industrials. Some of her television credits include dancing with Prince on the American Music Awards, Jason Alexander on the Comedy Hall of Fame Awards, Liza Minelli on the Academy Awards, and Paula Abdul on the MTV Video Music Awards. She was also featured in the films Tank Girl and Showgirls, and national commercials for Pepsi, Nike, and Asics. During her time working in L.A., she assisted such choreographers as Marguerite Derricks and Jamie King. Kim has also choreographed for Ani Difranco, Zoe Girl, and Tammy Trent. She is now based in Birmingham where she devotes much of her time to teaching/choreographing at BDT. Kim also travels the country teaching on the faculty for West Coast Dance Explosion. Her powerful and inspirational style has made Kim one of the most sought after choreographers in the country.
Cameron Lee has made it as a very successful dancer in his young career.
He has performed and choreographed for Summer Jam & Jingle Bell Bash.
He has done commercial work for Quaker Oats, US Bank, Blue Cross, and Heinz Ketchup.
He just re-turned from China where he danced and choreographed for the huge Chinese pop artist "Jay Chou".
He was there for 4 months dancing, learning, teaching, and performing.
Nicole started dancing at age 3 and trained locally at Pacific Northwest Ballet,
Elizabeth's Dance Dimensions, & Turning Pointe Dance Centre.
She travelled with Hollywood Connection & Adrenaline Dance Conventions assisting Chris Jacobsen & Dee Caspary.
In Seattle, she performed with the Storm Dance Troupe and Radio Disney .
In New York, she performed in the Capezio ACE Awards, AIDS benefit performances at the Joyce Theater,
Alvin Ailey Professional Division Summer Program showcase, and in the Tisch Gala at Lincoln Center. S
he currently attends NYU earning a BFA in dance through the Tisch School of the Arts.
Alex Little, a native of Seattle, Washington, is now based in Los Angeles, where she is teaching at Edge Performing Arts Center in addition to the Young Americans College of Performing Arts. Alex performed and taught on three international tours with the Young Americans; two of which she directed. She has worked with renowned artists like Mandy Moore, Terry Beeman, Doug Caldwell, Mark Meismer, Adam Parson, Rhonda Miller, Jessica Hendricks, Nicole Harlan and Cody Green; as well as multi- Emmy award winning director/composer Mark Watters, Drama Desk & Emmy Award Winner Michael Curry & Design, figure skaters Amber Corwin & Matt Evers, and more.
Aaron Gordon began dancing at age twelve when he was invited to join Street Level Dance, a hip hop company run out of Spectrum Dance Theatre. In 2002, Aaron joined the Dance This...Company, allowing him to perform the works of Sonia Dawkins and Jamel Gaines at the Paramount Theater. Last year he performed with Cruz Control in "Dance of the Dead" at the Moore Theater. Most recently he has choreographed pieces for Westlake Performing Group and his new group Electric Dance Company. Electric Dance offers innovative, story-based dances in the contemporary/funk style. Aaron currently attends the University of Washington, majoring in Geography and Communications.
Ann Frost began dancing at the age of 3 at Dance Time in Kirkland Washington and moved to Elizabeth’s Dance Dimensions at the age of 13. At both Dance Time and Elizabeth’s Ann trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, and pointe.
Ann has also had the opportunity to work choreographers Mandy Moore and Dominic Chaiduang multiple times. She is also a full time student at Seattle University and is studying to apply to Nutrition programs. Ann hopes to one day combine her knowledge and love of dance with her knowledge of the body and practice nutritional and personal training guidance for dancers. Ann’s love and interest in understanding how the body moves gives her a technical edge in the classroom.
Seth has been dancing ever since he can remember, and has been working in the industry since age 7. Grew up in Simi Valley, CA. He booked his first 7-month tour with Bear in the Big Blue House LIVE when he was 11 years old. Ever since then, he knew that was his passion. Seth has worked with some of LA's top choreographers such as Brian Friedman, Dave Scott, Shane Sparks, Sonya Tayeh, and many others. You may have seen him recently on Americas Got Talent, So You Think You Can Dance, Disney XD, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and other T.V. spots. He has also been a member of the critically acclaimed Diavolo Dance Theatre in L.A. Don't think that he only dances; Seth is an actor as well. In 2004 he won an Ovation Award for Laboheme Ensemble, also in 04' he won "Young Artist of the Year" for the city of Simi Valley. Seth received his Black Belt in martial arts and weapons training, and has also studied gymnastics. He is now traveling worldwide and doing what he loves the most: choreographing and teaching. Just this past spring Seth was commissioned to choreograph for Los Angeles Contemporary Dance Company (LACDC), where he premiered “No Words”.
