BIOGRAPHY:

Eduardo Aguirre & Heather Gervais have over 20 years of dance experience and two years working together as dance partners. Eduardo has been dancing since the age of six in Mexico City and since that time has worked to fulfill the dream of dancing on stages the world over and becoming a salsa maestro. Heather was introduced to salsa dancing while on a study abroad program in Oaxaca, Mexico in 2001, and feels that falling in love with the dance and the culture has been the most life-changing experience of her life. In 2007 the couple won the Portland Salsa Competition and qualified to compete in the World Salsa Championship, the third qualification for Eduardo and the first for Heather. The two love inspiring others through instruction and performance to discover for themselves the joy that they have found in salsa. They teach in the Greater Seattle area and perform and compete in numerous local and national events.
