Tasha is an established free lance professional dancer, teacher and choreographer. Having lived in Los Angeles for the past 16 years, she has been on faculty at Liv’art Dance Studio, Movement Lifestyle, EDGE Performing Arts Center and Millennium Dance Complex.
Growing up in her family’s dance studio, Tasha began her teaching career, assisting at the early age of 13 and went on to teach almost daily for the last 18 years. Tasha enjoys teaching Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Hip Hop and Improv and has taught master classes across the US, South America and Europe.
Tasha has choreographed numerous solos for dancers auditioning for college, TV or film as well as many award winning pieces for competition. She has years of experience training dancers for lead roles, auditions and performances in the industry.
Tasha has appeared in the movie Dance Flick, music videos such as “Dance of Love” by opera singer Michael Supanian and “Crazy” by Ava choreographed by Brian Friedman, and “School Bus” a commercial for PBS and can be seen as a judge on Dance Moms. Tasha has toured Aspen, Denver, Des Moines and Boulder performing in small contemporary and hip hop dance companies performing in the half time show and other events.
Tasha has always wanted to live in Seattle and recently relocated to be closer to family and friends, and enjoy the beautiful state of Washington. She is super excited to be on staff at Allegro Performing Arts Academy and can’t wait to work with you all!
