Cipher Goings, artistically known as Cipher Divine, is a 2019 YoungArts Finalist. He primarily
trains in rhythm tap, but he also incorporates various other dance styles into his performances.
In 2022, Cipher earned a Bachelor of Arts in dance from the University of Washington. He has
had the privilege of performing in the movie Spirited, starring Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell,
and as a soloist on the Late Late Show with James Corden, alongside Cedric the Entertainer.
Additionally, Cipher was a featured dancer on Season 18 of So You Think You Can Dance.
Cipher is a proud member of the Seattle dance community. He actively trains in Hip-Hop-based
choreography at Kollective 8, The Garden, and was part of the original cast that performed at
Bumbershoot in 2023 with Dope Girl Movement. Furthermore, Cipher has had the opportunity to
perform in Ireland, Taiwan, the UK, and most recently, China as a cast member of Riverdance.
When he’s not performing, Cipher enjoys teaching tap classes at Northwest Tap Connection,
Cultivate Dance Project, The Company Space, and Allegro.
