Making the most of your time!
Hi everyone! Let’s be honest, it is the beginning of rush season. The days are shorter, Thanksgiving and Christmas are around the corner, and you still have homework to do. Although we are busy, it is crucial that training continues. “I have no time to stretch.” Surely you do! Take just ten minutes before you go to sleep or before you get ready in the morning and do a light dynamic stretch. If you are in the middle of studying, hold a plank while taking a brain break or when you need a second to think. Getting up and moving around is a great way to clear your mind.
“I ate too much, I cannot do anything.” Yes, you totally can. When you feel that physical activity is not an option, educating yourself on some interesting dance history is always available on the internet. Don’t want to do history? Look up some YouTube videos of pro’s doing what they love and get inspired, they are amazing at what they do. Watching a movie? Perfect time to work those feet. Movie’s range from about an hour and a half to two hours long, so grab your theraband and start moving your feet! Great opportunity to get stronger. Tired? Try some yoga. Not only is it ‘very’ relaxing, it helps strengthen your core. It is also a thorough stretch, in a good way. After doing yoga, I personally feel refreshed. Give it a shot! While it is important to train it is also very important to rest. Take a break every once in a while. :) Thanks for reading!
