Make connections in Dance!

Hello my name is Bella. I am 17 years old and a senior in high school. This is my second year with Allegro's pre professional program, my eighth year on team, and my 13th year dancing at Allegro.

I have been dancing since I was 3 years old. Dance has always been the place where I can express myself and let go. Allegro is truly my second home and family. I have grown so much in dance and as a human. Allegro provides many amazing opportunities to help shape your future, for example the assistant teacher program, pre pro, and teaching has helped me grow and learn so much. In my future I hope to continue teaching dance, I enjoy being able to share my passion with my students, supporting and guiding them to success. 

Advice I would give to younger dancers is to make connections with everyone. When I was younger I would keep to myself. As years went on I started really getting to know all of my teammates, teachers, younger, and older dancers. Once I made more connections dance became even more enjoyable. It is special to share experiences, support each other, and build memories together. My teammates have become my best friends and I’m going to miss sharing the stage with them. 

I will forever be so thankful for Allegro!
