My name is Isabel. I am 18 years old and currently a senior in high school. This is my second year at Allegro, where I am part of both the pre-professional program and the competitive team.

Although my time at Allegro has been relatively short, it is where I have learned some of the most valuable lessons and built meaningful connections that I will carry with me into the future. Allegro has also given me the opportunity to connect with alumni across many areas of dance, which has helped guide and support my transition into pursuing dance after high school.

My advice to younger dancers is to trust yourself and trust your training. The process of deciding what to do with dance can feel overwhelming at times, but it’s important to remember the foundation your teachers have helped you build. Stay focused on working hard for yourself, not for others, and trust that your dedication will take you far.
