Allegro Success at National Competition - July 2023!
Allegro Precision Dance Company and PURE Hip Hop teams traveled to Las Vegas in July 2023 to attend Velocity Dance National Competition! We spent the week dancing our hearts out, competing against some of the best studios in the country and had some pretty great success!
Here are a few of the highlights:
Many of our Allegro dancers were chosen to compete in the Maximum Velocity Artist (MVA) title program. They auditioned, rehearsed all week, competed their solos AND got to perform with Tove Lo at the end of the week!! * Out of 750+ title contestants, 10 were chosen (2 for each age category) and Allegro dancers Lillian & Lidia earned two of the ten title spots!!! WOW!

Maximum Velocity Artist Intermediate Title Winner- Lillian!
Our Presto Lyrical group choreographed and coached by Patrick Pulkrabek earned the NATIONAL CHAMPION title!
Out of ALL the intermediate (pre-teen) division, including small groups, large groups, lines, and productions, they were one of 8 of the highest scoring numbers chosen to recompete at the MVP (Maximum Velocity Performance) gala on the last day of our nationals week!!
At the gala, all the group pieces were judged again by a new panel of judges and Le Coeur danced beautifully. Our competitors did too and ALL the dancers were all so talented and determined!!
When it was time for awards, they awarded 7th runner up, then 6... etc... all the way to the last two standing!!! Hearing the other group being awarded 1st runner up meant that Le Coeur had WON!!
Congrats to our national champions! We know that a moment of triumph on stage means so much work, dedication and focus behind the scenes. We are so proud of you:)

They were chosen to be a part of the MVA+ program with Velocity Dance Convention's 2023/24 season.
It’s a year long assisting program where they get to travel, learn more about assisting and work with the fantastic Velocity staff!!
It's a huge honor and a very exciting experience!! Way to go dancers!!
Nationals is a long, tiring week but we always come away inspired and motivated. There are so many personal bests, feel good moments, memories made! We are so proud of ALL our dancers and their dedication.
